Child & Vulnerable Adult Safeguarding
Our coaches, by training in England with the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association, have undertaken specific coaching with respect to the instruction of minors and those considered to be of increased vulnerability within society. This code of practice ensures that our coaching is conducted within safe environments, which have been vetted in advance, and that all instruction is provided in a professional, open and honest manner. Our coaches are committed to providing a high quality service, with a strong focus on respect, honesty and above all, safety. Snooker is a fun sport which challenges many aspects of a students abilities - our intention is to help students achieve their full potential whilst enjoying themselves as well. More information about WPBSA's child protection policy can be found here. In addition to meeting the WPBSA expectations for safeguarding, our coaches have undergone Police background checks in Canada, as well as undertaken additional 'Commit2kids' training provided by protectchildren.ca. More information about this training can be found here.
